Delmark Records Stereo Sealed. Very Rare If you are into slick, well-produced music cranked out by a tightly-knit blues combo, you will not like this album at all. The band on this album blazes through these tunes with an enthusiasm that is really catchy, but they sure do miss some notes and some timing cues along the way. The sound of Yank's electric mandolin is so piercing that it is really unsettling at times, but, once you hear it, you will want to hear that strange sound again and again. This is the real blues: hard-edged, expressive, unpolished, and unadorned. Most of all, this is a fun listen. By Kmeyer99 Side 1. 1. Depression Blues 2. Roll Me over Baby 3. Check Up on My Baby 4.
