Just listen to Mildred Lane caress, stretch and pinch the lyrics while the other members of the group echo and punctuate her moans and screams. There’s even a false ending to wring even more tension out of the song. This rivals the Chambers Brothers’ version as the best ever take of this oft-covered Impressions hit.
