The Best of The Byrds: Greatest Hits, Volume II is the second compilation album released by American band The Byrds. When the band's contract with Columbia Records expired, the label issued this as a successor to the highly popular The Byrds' Greatest Hits from 1967.
Released in late 1972, just before the reunion of the original Byrds took place, The Best of The Byrds: Greatest Hits, Volume II could only manage to reach #114 in the United States.The cover photograph was later used for a UK double compilation, History of the Byrds.
