Liberty Records Stereo 1968
"Exotic Love" here means the mod, "big beat" sound of the miniskirted, Burt Bacharach-dominated late 1960s. Fans of both Bacharach and Denny will enjoy this consistently pleasing album. Particularly interesting are the two Denny originals, "Voodoo Love" and "Love Exotic Style" (named, no doubt, after the then-popular television show, "Love American Style"). Here also is a tune by the Rascals, and what's this, a Troggs tune? ("Wild Thing" may be a purer expression of exotic love!)
