This recording is just so cool! Little Sonny has got to be one of the funkiest harp players ever. His sound is very full and dynamic. His band is one solid, rockin', funkified unit. To me, they sound as though they have fused electric delta blues and James Brown style funk. And, believe me, they do it effortlessly. These guys are first-rate musicians who have honed their style for years in some of the greasiest bars in Detroit. If you don't love this CD, you have got a hole in your soul.
