Polydor Records Stereo 1969 Sealed New
Funky funky Hammond – an incredible album that has organist Bill Dogget playing with the James Brown Band of the 60s! And sure, sometimes Dogget could be sleepy – but not on this album, as it kicks like a James Brown record with funky organ over the top! Nearly ever cut's a winner – with James, Pee Wee Ellis, and the rest of the group pitching in to give Bill the hippest sound he ever cut on wax. The album includes the legendary funky break cuts "Honky Tonk" and "Honky Tonk Popcorn", plus lots of other nice groovers, like "A Doozy", "Mad", "Slippin In", and "Corner Pocket". Very nice, and produced by James Brown himself! © 1996-2011, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
